Teams and Individuals
Both Teams, individuals, couples and accompanying children are welcome. Room will depend on what's available when they come. Tents are always a possibility as well and have been used in the past. We should know what's available before you go.
Best Time
What is the best time to come (weather, housing availability etc.)? The weather in St. Croix is consistent year round. Between 70 and 90 degrees, respectively, with low to NO humidity to speak of. In this region, hurricane season is said to begin sometime in July and runs through August.

Care of MBI Volunteers
They will provide a general orientation of the island’s attractions. Getting around on your own is very easy. There is a taxi service that costs $2.00 per person and it takes you to either end of the island. The YWAM base is located right next to the only shopping center on the island; therefore any needs can be easily met just by walking a very short distance. After the initial orientation you will be more than able to see all that is desired on their own.
Travel
The airport is not far away and they will gladly take care of the arrival and departures for each volunteer.

Testimonies from Mission Builders who have gone to this location:
- Mission Builders who are in St. Croix (March/April) wrote- It's a blessing to serve here at St. Croix. The staff are wonderful and we're really enjoying the opportunity to get to know them.
- Our time in St. Croix was an incredible blessing. Mark, Viola and the team are wonderful people and it was a joy to serve with them. By the time we left we felt like family. We were able to clear some land and plant a garden while we were there, so we felt like we were able to make a contribution. We are telling our friends about Mission Builders. The Lord willing, we'll definitely be contacting you about other sites where we can serve in the future.
