Ministry Description
*It is recommended that you apply at least three months in advance. As a Mission Builder, you may serve for a term of no less than 2 weeks and up to a maximum of 3 months, after which time we encourage you to consider participating in one of our Discipleship Training Schools.

The story of YWAM Montana-Lakeside shares a clear family resemblance with the thousands of other YWAM stories, large and small, that you hear from the lips of YWAMers all over the world. We began our journey with a handful of people in 1985 that felt called by God to join hearts and lives together in an effort to launch a new ministry in a little-known corner of Western Montana. Today, whether a remnant of the few who pioneered the ministry in 1985 or a recent new-comer to the now 160 staff, together we still are doing our heartfelt best to love and follow Jesus while playing our respective parts.

Whether running a school, leading a team, swinging a hammer, cooking a meal or running an office, our ongoing call is to complete the assignment God gave us so many years ago to see the next generation equipped and ready to receive and respond to their Kingdom assignment with the same joy and confidence with which our founders started out so may years ago, still trusting that the One who loves and calls us is still well able to empower us to complete the race he has called us to run.

YWAM Lakeside has a calling to train Christian disciples, to evangelize the lost and to mobilize the Church to action. We do this through training, music, worship, performing arts and sports ministries. Our target nations are Ukraine, Thailand, India, Taiwan, Cambodia and Nepal.

Mission Builders get to work alongside our long-term Missionary Members and develop meaningful relationships that will give them insight into full-time service. We try to place volunteers in a working environment that suits their abilities and desires, and helps meet the current needs in our critical services. Volunteers often serve in the kitchen, facilities, maintenance and occasionally on special projects. Housing is limited, so acceptance is based on whether or not housing is available at the time you want to serve.

Ministry Description
YWAM Mazatlan asks volunteers to complete their application process, available online at https://www.ywammazatlan.com/mission-trips

YWAM Mazatlan had its beginnings in July 2004 with a small pioneering team sent out from YWAM Newcastle, Australia. Today, we are passionate about seeing young people - Mexicans and internationals alike - trained, equipped and released into their God-given calling.

We offer Discipleship Training Schools (DTS) throughout the year as well as other schools and summer programs. From January to May we are also busy hosting teams. Our Homes of Hope program allows teams to come and work with us to build a house for a family in need in just 3 days. Apart from building, our visiting teams also have the opportunity to be out doing street evangelism, doing children's programs, Bible distribution and/or serving on base.

YWAM Matzatlan’s property is located in the older, historic part of Mazatlan. We have a vision to purchase adjoining properties and expand the campus in the coming years!

As a mission builder, you will be mixing and living with the students in our Discipleship Training Schools and Secondary Schools, the staff of YWAM Mazatlan and other volunteers. Because we value community here at YWAM Mazatlan, we want you to take part in our weekly corporate gatherings. These include all of our worship/intercession times, evangelism, and special events such as school graduations. We can accept mission builders throughout the year, but there are months where we especially need the extra set of hands. November to May is usually a busier season for us with the months of January, February and March being the busiest.

About Our Area
Mazatlán is situated on the Pacific Coast of Mexico, almost directly across from the tip of the Baja peninsula. Although Mazatlán is one of Mexico’s most popular vacation destinations, it has another identity as the largest port in Mexico, with a bustling economy independent of the tourism industry. Because it was a city long before it became a beach resort, Mazatlan is less touristy than some of its neighbors on what the cruise industry calls the Mexican Riviera.

The city is concentrated in two areas. In the north, there is the Zona Dorada (Golden Zone) where the majority of hotels and restaurants are located. In the south there is El Centro (downtown) where the heart of the city is. Though Mazatlan offers great transportation options, it's also a great city to walk in. Because it's an older city, it was built to cater to foot traffic, not cars. Thus, walking can be a very enjoyable experience. All of our staff and students take advantage of the great beachfront walkway that strolls for some 13 miles!

Weather:
November - December: Highs in the 80s, lows in the 60s,

Ministry Description
We are located in Santiago de los Caballeros, the second largest city in the Dominican Republic, with a population of over a million people. Our vision is to see the reality and relevance of Christianity transform lives and impact communities as we disciple and equip people for life, leadership and missions.

As YWAM Santiago we work mainly with training and formation. With ministry experience in about fifty countries, we offer workshops, retreats, camps and courses with a focus on the development of children, youth, adults and families for life, leadership and missions.

We have a YWAM house in the city that we use for training, camps and for housing teams & volunteers. We also have a training camp in the countryside called NIKOLAND, one hour from Santiago in the Northern mountain range. It is a very rustic and refreshing place at almost 1000 m above sea level.

At Nikoland we run camps, host retreats and organize training events. Aside from thick brush we have a large building where meetings can be held, a sleeping cabin, a latrine, some fire pits and a beautiful view of the city of Santiago. From the road by Nikoland you can also see the north coast.
Needs

About Our Area
Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, is the country's second largest city and with a population of over one million it's the fourth-largest city in the Caribbean. It is a tropical wet and dry climate.

Santiago was founded in 1495 during the first wave of European colonization of the New World. Santiago is in the center of the Cibao Valley. It is surrounded by tall mountains which provide good protection from hurricanes, and makes it easy to forget that it's located on an island.

It's possible to reach both the North and South coast by bus, visiting Puerto Plata or Santo Domingo.

Ministry Description
YWAM Northwoods is unique, as our passion is to do missions from a heart of worship. We focus on those who have never heard the name of Jesus. We strive to imitate the heroes in the book of Acts, who planted the first churches in the hardest and darkest places.

It stirs our hearts to know we are laying foundations that generations will build upon for decades to come. We champion young people and foster families to lead lives of excellence within a trusting community. We intentionally disciple and evangelize locally to practice the very thing we then take to the nations.

We believe the gospel of Jesus Christ cannot be encapsulated and kept secret for exclusive groups. At YWAM Northwoods, our aim is to take the gospel “from the wilderness to the world.” We offer an original Discipleship Training School (DTS), Crossroads DTS (CDTS), School of Biblical Foundations (SBF), Musician’s Summer of Service and Infusion.

Come and serve 1 to 3 months of your time!

Ministry Description
Making disciples of all nations is the heartbeat of YWAM Tyler. Since its establishment in 1980, YWAM Tyler has grown from a handful of people to approximately 250 full-time workers, training hundreds of students annually on our nearly-400-acre ranch facility. The ministry is involved in training, evangelism, discipleship, medical and relief work, construction, teaching, and the development of new avenues of ministry. Long-term ministry centers have been pioneered and established in other nations such as India, Haiti, Romania and Mongolia (as well as some restricted Muslim nations).

Mission building at YWAM Tyler gives you the opportunity to come and serve alongside full-time missionaries and be exposed to the fullness of God’s purposes for your life. What's needed most - skilled tradesmen and tradeswomen who can help with building projects, renovations and repairs on this large campus. There are seasonal needs for kitchen helpers, grounds, landscaping and the like. An increase in YWAM Tyler’s workforce over the past several years has created a critical need for campus housing. We have completed the first phase of a project to build duplexes for families and singles and we have started the second. We need help! Most mission builders volunteer for 2-4 weeks, although long-term opportunities may be worked out with YWAM Tyler.
Needs
We happily welcome volunteers and have many areas you can serve in. Depending on the seasons, the type of work varies, however, we welcome people at most any skill level.

In addition to the skills listed below, we have need for general laboring, vehicle maintenance, web/graphic design, landscaping, kitchen help, & housekeeping.

We have a lot going on at this campus, so it is highly likely we will have something to fit your skills or preference. www.facebook.com/ywamtyler https://www.instagram.com/ywamtyler/?hl=en

Ministry Description
Believing God for One Nation in One Generation – YWAM Battambang, Cambodia University of the Nations Battambang is a ministry of YWAM Global and was started by a team of young people in January 2006. Our vision: Equipping and empowering to bring transformation to communities in Cambodia, Southeast Asia and to the ends of the earth.

Our heart is that we would be a platform for the indigenous people to rise up and influence all spheres of society in their nation with the love of Jesus. Our vision is not only for Cambodia, but also that we would be a training center for the surrounding region which includes four of the remaining Communist (closed) nations (Vietnam, Laos, China and Myanmar).

We are working to see God's kingdom built in Cambodia. He has exploded the YWAM base from a handful of young volunteer missionaries into a vibrant and growing ministry that touches thousands of lives every day in the second largest city in the nation. We focus on discipleship, evangelism, and mercy ministry at our various ministry locations. Redemption, restoration, and revival are very much on God's heart for this nation.

We believe God's word to us that He will finish the good work He has started here in this nation. A snapshot of the ministry areas we are involved in include:
  • King’s Kids (a project to children at risk)
  • Jeevit’s House (reaching families with HIV/AIDS)
  • Youth Development Centre
  • Café Eden (a thriving business-as-missions)
  • Fitness BTB (a functional fitness gym)
  • Cornerstone Learning Center (an international elementary school)
Training schools include; Discipleship Training School, School of Ministry Development, Word By Heart, School of Biblical Studies, Titus Project, DTS Equip Work Project.

YWAM/UofN Battambang, Cambodia since purchasing property has greatly expanded their facilities and is continuing construction. Keep in touch with us about upcoming construction projects and schedules. We have many other service needs that volunteers may help with as well!

We always are happy to have people who can help with general labor. We have an immediate need for Certified Elementary School Teachers, Crossfit Coaches, Social Workers and English Teachers.

About Our Area
From 1975-1979 the Khmer Rouge committed a mass genocide of their own people killing an estimated 2-3 million people and nearly destroying a nation. The impact of this horrific civil war still impacts this nation today. But God is in the business of restoration and that is exactly what He is doing in Cambodia in this generation.

Approximately 80% of the Cambodian population is under the age of 30 and 42% are under 15 years old, so much of our ministry is with young adults, youth, and children. The people of Cambodia are deeply searching for truth and are not much different from you and me.

Today, this vision continues in the hearts of those sent out to disciple the nations of the world. YWAM Colorado is located in the heart of the Colorado Rocky Mountains--the ideal environment for drawing closer to God. It was carved out of 2,000 acres of virgin forest located at 8,600 feet and extending to 11,400 feet high. Cimarron is located between Gunnison and Montrose, Colorado.

Our campus consists of over 20 staff, which are committed to discipleship and making people family for the amount of time that we have them. We currently provide four programs, as well as some short-term opportunities. Our main programs are: Discipleship Training School (DTS), Gap Discipleship Training School, Summer of Service Training (SST) and TESOL (teaching English to speakers of other languages).

Cimarron's Mission Builders are men and women of action! They are carpenters, plumbers, heavy equipment operators, electricians, engineers, architects, secretaries, computer operators, kitchen helpers, accounting workers, landscapers and many others who want to use their skills to make an impact for the kingdom of God. We are always in need of extra hands. We would love to have the opportunity to make you family.

YWAM Mendoza in Argentina loves new challenges and different cultures. We currently have around 30 full-time staff from all over the world serving with us, and we speak Spanish, English and occasionally Portuguese!

We appreciate Argentine culture and knowing more of who God is, His faithfulness and how He transforms lives. Our vision is to train leaders to go to the least-reached nations and to affect areas of society in Mendoza. Pray with us for God to use us to impact lives around us in Mendoza and into the nations!

The schools we host include the Soccer and Arab World DTS along with a Sports and Adventure DTS, Community Development DTS. In addition, we also run a School of Frontier Missions (SOFM). YWAM Mendoza is located on a big farm and there is plenty of room to connect with God in nature, play sports, do arts, and grow in a diverse community. God is doing amazing things in Argentina, and we are so privileged to be part of this time.

About Our Area
Mendoza is the capital of the Mendoza province and it has 880,000 inhabitants. The city is situated in a desert close to the Andes and the border of Chile. It has an altitude of 810 meters (2,657 feet) over sea level.

Mendoza is a very old town; it was discovered in 1561. It started flourishing after channels were built that led water down from the mountains. This was to improve irrigation for agriculture. In 1861, there was an earthquake that completely destroyed Mendoza. The city was then rebuilt and is now a center for tourism, vineyards and outdoor adventure sports.

Mendoza is well-known for its variety of vineyards and for adventure activities. People come to Mendoza to climb, trek, hike, horse-back ride, ski, board, raft, bike and paraglide. From Mendoza, there is also a lot of tourism to the Andes and especially to Aconcagua, the highest peak in the South American continent with a height of 6,962 meters (22,841 feet). Even though the climate is hot and dry, Mendoza is a very green city because of the parks and planted trees.

Ministry Description
YWAM Ketchikan is primarily a ministry of connecting cultures, with the purpose of mobilizing Southeast Alaska Natives into missions. It is about connecting cultures of tribal peoples for the purpose of advancing the ministry and message of Jesus Christ to unreached indigenous people through discipleship, training, raising the standard of excellence in leadership, and encouraging intimate relationship with the Lord.

Our hope is that there will be a release of young Southeast Alaska Natives into missions, sharing Jesus through their culture to tribal peoples around the world who await the news of the One True Creator - that they too can know and worship Him within the context of their own culture.

About Our Area
Tourists come all year round, but our biggest influx is from late April til the end of September via cruise ships, airplanes and ferries. There are lots of recreational opportunities here including organized tours, hiking, kayacking, fishing, beach combing and more. There is a Rec Center with 2 pools, a sauna, exercise equipment, walking/jogging track, basketball and handball courts. We have an excellent library, museums and a movie theatre.

It rains 170 inches per year on average, and is often accompanied by wind, so a good raincoat with a hood are strongly recommended. An umbrella is generally useless.
